The proposal of an exhibition-Flashback, from the selection of eighteen pieces and promotional material of each of the editions, it works as a kind of experiential support of the international festival of video art of camagüey. Different lines and discursive visual form a sample, where several selection criteria. The same, they respond to a set of works that generates a holistic view of these six editions, appealing to the need to offer to the public pieces that have marked moments cimeros within the space and which have not been often within other curadurías. Paraphrasing the central protagonist of memories of underdevelopment: "one of the things that baffles the people is their inability to sustain a feeling, an idea without dispersion". And fivac has proved to be entirely consistent. It's pure alteration, related things, accumulate experiences... Those are some of the signs of development. Think of the myriad Jobs that are overlooked When you turn on the tap, no matter where you live, in the city or a rural area: from digging wells, to drawing, fetching, purifying, and distributing water, STI ecosystems to studying, analyzing STI composition, con sus use in washing, the production of our food, the management of sewage and waste, the caring for equitable access to water, the Ensuring of environmental health and sustainability, paying homage to and highlighting water’s qualities or conditions …

Climate change , financial crises, war, and overall environmental damage, have all put Pressures on water forcing it to “work” as commodity capital and resource for growing and shifting human Populations. While non-human species and Natural Processes: such as coral reefs, wetlands and beavers “work” in the maintenance and transformation of water , there are Also the “works” created by the passing actions of floods, storms and tides. How can art, science, design, and activism reinstate the social, cultural and environmental value of water? How can we give recognition to the essential and invaluable ways That water works?

Thousands at AVI festival - Netanya 2015

Dozens of artists from around the country and the world have made the Independence Square into an outdoor Museum.

Thousands of residents of Netanya and visitors from all around the country came to Independence Square to watch the new international video arts festival held for the first in the city. AVI Festival, from the creating of the group "Anu Banu" and under the artistic direction of Ynin Shillo, featured the works of 45 global leading artists .

The visitors of the festival  benefited from a variety of spectacular video works, through which they could "visit" cool Finland, learn how to tame a chair, experience moments of beauty in Tibet, dive to the depths of consciousness in the contemporary era and take part in artistic and rhythmic experience in the public sphere. List of prominent international artists: Professor Jawshing Arthur liou, Muriel Montini, Sinasi Gunes and more. The festival, which opened every day at 19:00, continued until 23:00, during which were the art exhibits projected onto giant screens above the public. The city hall and the city center administration said "the voice Hasharon - Netanya online", "This is the optimal utilization of the advanced technology monitors at the new Independence Square, and we intend to expand this activity."

The 3 days festival in Netanya is over and we want to take the time to thank all of you for taking part in the first edition of AVI. It was a grate experience working with you.
