This date is a cause for pleasure, because today CologneOFF 2011 Baltic Sea is starting in Tampere Finland organised at Arteles & Rajtila Gallery by Pekka Ruuska, who also contributed a curated selection of Finnish videoart to CologneOFF 2011, and later in 2017 Tapere based Simo Sakari Saarikoskii, contributed another selection of Finnish videoart- and at the same time a cause for deep mourning, because today actually the 3rd All Art Now Festival was supposed to start in Damascus/Syria, but due to the escalating war, the two founders of the Syrian videoart festival Nisrine Boukhari and Abir Boukhari had to escape from Damascus. Today is the start of One Shot - International Short Film Festival in Yerevan, and Wilfried is visiting another Caucasian country - Armenia.
