Today, is the final day of another key event after A Virtual Memorial Riga in June. - A Virtual Memorial Phnom Penh 2012 - taking place between 12-15 July at METAHouse - the German-Cambodian Cultural Centre in Phnom Penh - and Wilfried is attending this event by flying via Abu Dhabi and Bangkok. A very long travel, but worthwhile, of course. Dedicated to the victims of the Cambodian genocide 1975-1979 by presenting 12 exciting screening programs, the event is the starting point of a new film collection thanks to the German METAHouse director Nico Mesterharm and his Cambodian wife Sopheak Sao and the collaboration with DMC Royal University of Phnom Penh & GIZ , which will become later the basis of The Cambodia 1975-1979 Memorial.
