"The theme
of the Videokanava deals with feminism and femininity in concepts, thinking
and action. With feminism, we don’t only mean the gender issue, but also the
broader equality movement that questions all inequalities and classifications
on the basis of social class, ethnicity, sexuality or age. So the focus of
the theme is not just only in the power relations between men and women, but
the power relations in general. It is inquiring as to whether or not we
can achieve equality if we do not first recognize inequality in all its
forms."
