NewMediaFest2020 - The 365 Days Diary 26 May 2011 This date is a cause for pleasure, because today CologneOFF 2011 Baltic Sea is starting in Tampere Finland organised at Arteles & Rajtila Gallery by Pekka Ruuska, who also contributed a curated selection of Finnish videoart to CologneOFF 2011, and later in 2017 Tapere based Simo Sakari Saarikoskii, contributed another selection of Finnish videoart- and at the same time a cause for deep mourning, because today actually the 3rd All Art Now Festival was supposed to start in Damascus/Syria, but due to the escalating war, the two founders of the Syrian videoart festival Nisrine Boukhari and Abir Boukhari had to escape from Damascus. NewMediaFest2020 - The 365 Days Diary 14 May 2010 The today's article is spotlighting Wilfried's activities in Turkey. when in Canakkale Sinasi Gunes is organising a videoart event, earlier on 14 May 2005, Wilfried released on VideoChannel a feature of videoart from Turkey curated by Sinasi Gunes and in June 2005, Sinasi realised in Istanbul "Obsession Videoart Festival, including also one of Wilfried videos. Istanbul was already earlier the place for the virtual "Istanbul Museum" and the Web Biennial - initiatives by Genco Gülan, Wilfried participated in 2002, 2003 and 2007 with his net based art projects. In 2007, Julie Upmeyer started in Istanbul her project "Caravansarai " by realizing ENTER Caravansarai Festival in which Wilfried was participating with a selection from CologneOFF I & II - and also in 2007, Hülya Küpçüoğlu invited Wilfried to participate in the videoart exhibition @ 2nd Bursa International Videoart Festival.
