This date is a cause for pleasure, because today CologneOFF 2011 Baltic Sea is starting in Tampere Finland organised at Arteles & Rajtila Gallery by Pekka Ruuska, who also contributed a curated selection of Finnish videoart to CologneOFF 2011, and later in 2017 Tapere based Simo Sakari Saarikoskii, contributed another selection of Finnish videoart- and at the same time a cause for deep mourning, because today actually the 3rd All Art Now Festival was supposed to start in Damascus/Syria, but due to the escalating war, the two founders of the Syrian videoart festival Nisrine Boukhari and Abir Boukhari had to escape from Damascus.
